    I too am grateful for kitchen things, particularly the simples ones, like the redolence of cooking, and the kettle whistling.

      ☺️ The kettle’s whistle seems a bit bossy to me. But then, mine usually heralds a adopt of coffee elixir of life, and not the refined comfort of tea.
